Indian-American astronauts nominated for appointment in the grade of Brigadier General of the US Air Force





Washington, January 27 (Punjab Mail) – US President Joe Biden has invited Indian-American astronaut Raja J. Chari has been nominated to be appointed in the grade of Brigadier General of the Air Force. According to the US Department of Defense, Biden nominated Air Force Colonel Chari (45) to be appointed to the rank of Brigadier General of the Air Force. His nomination would require the approval of the Senate, which approves all major civilian and military appointments.
