The state police have arrested a suspect from Theni district of Tamil Nadu who was roaming near the India-Pakistan border in Gujarat.
The local police department and the Central Investigation Agency have conducted serious investigations as there were tools such as border area map, spanner and screw driver in his bag.
In this regard, the statement issued by the police department said: The arrested Nab has been identified as Sontha Dinesh Lakshmanan of Theni district of Tamil Nadu.
He was spotted suspiciously on Tuesday evening on the road connecting the Border Security Force post and Lotrani village near the India-Pakistan border in Kutch district. The investigation unit of the state police, who was on patrol there, caught him and conducted an investigation.
Balashar was taken to the police station as his answer about the reason for coming to the border area was not satisfactory.
On checking his bag, he found a map (hand drawn) showing Kutch region and neighboring villages of Pakistan, screw driver, spanner, cutting blade, scissors, passport, driving license, PAN card, foreign use ATM card, Mumbai-Surendranagar train ticket in Gujarat. , some food items and Rs.10,000 in cash.
According to the report, as the answers given by the local police department were not satisfactory, Dinesh was taken to another place for detailed investigation.
