Earlier, there were reports in Iranian media that search teams had reached the wreckage of the helicopter, but said there were no signs of life on it.

According to the Iranian news agency, the wreckage of the helicopter of the Iranian president was found on a hill. On the other hand, it was told by an Iranian official that after the helicopter accident, President Ibrahim Raisi and all the crew on board died.
The official Iranian source claimed that the helicopter at the crash site was completely burnt, killing all the people on board.

It should be noted that the President of Iran, Ibrahim Raisi, returned to Tabriz after inaugurating a dam on the border of Iran with Azerbaijan, when his helicopter had to make an emergency landing due to bad weather. .
Apart from the President of Iran, Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdullahian, Governor of East Azerbaijan Province Malik Rahmati and other important officials were on board the helicopter.
After the emergency landing, rescue teams from 6 provinces of Tehran, Alborz, Ardabil, East Azerbaijan and West Azerbaijan participated in the search operation for the helicopter.

Apart from the Iranian military forces, rescue personnel from Turkey were also involved in this operation while the European Commission also contributed by activating the satellite mapping service.
On the other hand, after the helicopter accident, an emergency meeting of the Supreme Council led by the Supreme Leader of Iran, Ayatollah Khamaei, was called.
