Islamabad police inspector arrested on corruption charges
ISLAMABAD: The Anti-Corruption Wing of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Monday arrested Islamabad Police Inspector Mansoor Ahmed on corruption charges.
The inspector was accused of accepting a bribe of Rs250,000 from a private citizen facing murder charges.
According to the FIA, the accused is said to have regularly received bribes using associates of the estate.

The FIA registered a case against the accused and started investigation.
The federal agency earlier in the month launched an anti-money laundering case against people accused of running an e-commerce scam worth over Rs140 million in Karachi.
The accused persons allegedly used the credit cards to book items for purchase, and then requested refunds by canceling the orders.
The FIA arrested the accused after a detailed investigation by the Cybercrime Circle Karachi.
