Isma was killed by strangulation due to agricultural dispute
Chandrapur, Leader News Service : The incident of killing a woman by strangulation due to an old agricultural dispute took place at Doni in Mula taluka on the night of the bullfight. The accused Vijaypal Gonvidrao Alam (age 25) has been arrested by the police in this case. The name of the deceased is Amrit Bajirao Alam (aged 60).
Alam family lives in Doni in Mool taluka. Amrit Alam and Vijaypal Alam had an old dispute over agriculture for two years. Both of them are cousins. At present, paddy has been grown in agriculture. Vijaypal had a fight with Amrit near the Samaj Mandir on Thursday, over an old agricultural dispute.
In a fit of rage Junya tied Amrut’s hands behind his back with a white doublet, with the intention of settling the old dispute. The same double killed him by strangling him. This incident spread like wildfire in Doni. When the family rushed to the spot, the body of Amrit Bajirao Alam was found near the steps of the Samaj Mandir. Annapurna Alam, the wife of the deceased, filed a complaint at Mool police station. The police have arrested the accused Vijaypal Gonvidrao Alam. A case has been registered against the accused under Section 302 of IPC. Further investigation is being conducted by Police Inspector Sumit Parteki.
