Kangana Ranaut defends Sunny Deol who shouted at a fan for taking a picture: ‘Selfie culture is terrible’
After a video of actor-politician Sunny Deol getting angry at a fan who was trying to click a picture with him went viral, several social media users criticized him for being rude and arrogant. However, actress Kangana Ranaut X, formerly known as Twitter, came to his rescue and wrote, “Such an incident in isolation can never be indicative of anyone’s intentions or behaviour, and selfie culture is terrible.” Yes, people come very close to us. Subject to all kinds of virals and viruses, love has many languages, selfies and hugs are not the only language.
In the video, Sunny is seen exiting the airport when a fan comes close to the actor and tries to take a selfie. When the fan took time to click the photo, the ‘Gadar 2’ star, looking annoyed, told him in Punjabi, ‘Lai na photo (take the photo)’.
In another incident, the BJP MP from Gurdaspur got angry when some female fans tried to touch him while trying to click photographs with him.
Sunny Deol’s latest release Gadar 2 hit the screens on 11th August and turned out to be a blockbuster earning Rs 261.35 crore at the domestic box office. Directed by Anil Sharma, the film is a sequel to Deol’s 2001 film Gadar: Ek Prem Katha, in which the actor played the iconic role of Tara Singh. The sequel will also see Ameesha Patel and Utkarsh Sharma reprising their roles from the first film.
Talking about Kangana, the actress will be next seen in Tejas as an Air Force pilot. The film revolves around the extraordinary journey of Air Force pilot Tejas Gill, and aims to inspire and instill a deep sense of pride in the brave soldiers who defend our country facing many challenges along the way. We do. The Indian Air Force was the first defense force in the country to induct women in combat roles in 2016. Written and directed by Sarvesh Mevada, the film is all set to release in theaters on October 20, 2023.
Apart from this, Kangana will be seen in Emergency in which she will play the role of late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. It is his first solo-directed film. The film also stars Anupam Kher, Mahima Chowdhary, Vishakh Nair and Shreyas Talpade in pivotal roles.
