According to details, a hearing was held in the Lahore High Court on the application of Amina Arooj, the accused in the Khalilur Rehman Qamar honey trap case, for medical treatment.
In the petition, IG Prisons and Superintendent Court Lakhpat Jail were made parties, it was pleaded in the court that Amina Urooj was subjected to severe physical and mental torture by the police during physical imprisonment.
It was requested that due to the violence, Amina Urooj suffers from severe internal and external injuries, an order should be issued for Amina Urooj to be brought before the court and undergo medical treatment.
During the hearing, the preliminary medical report of Amina Urooj was submitted to the court, according to which, torture marks were found on both legs of Amina Urooj and there were three injuries.
The public prosecutor said that two to three injuries of Amina Urooj are under consideration.
In the medical report, it was said that the X-ray and other tests should be done on the accused Amina Urooj for a complete medical.
Justice Tariq Saleem Sheikh asked how long it can take. In which AMS Dr. Faraz said that it will take three to four days to complete the medical report.
The court adjourned the hearing until August 27, ordering him to complete the medical.
It should be noted that the accused Amina Urooj had revealed during the investigation about the application of electric current, but the doctors did not agree with the statement of Amina Urooj regarding the application of electric current .
