Kirit Somaiya receives second threat email – ThePrint Hindi
Mumbai, September 27 (Language) Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Kirit Somaiya has approached Mumbai Police after receiving another email threatening to expose ‘leaders like him’. An official provided this information on Wednesday.
Earlier, the police had registered an FIR after an email came to Somaiya’s office demanding Rs 50 lakh from him in return for not releasing his ‘obscene video’. According to the police, this email came on September 24.
The second email came on September 25 in which the sender claimed to have clips of other leaders like Somaiya. “I will expose them too, all of them belong to your political party,” the officer said, referring to the emails.
He said that Somaiya has lodged a police complaint in connection with the second email. He said that the matter is under investigation.
