KTR About women reservation bill
There are different opinions about the introduction of the Women’s Reservation Bill in the Parliament by the Central Government. At this moment, KTR expressed his joy in this bill. He responded to the bill providing reservation for women to be apolitical in some matters. He said that he is very proud of this bill as an Indian. Everyone wants to support a cause that benefits so many people. Minister KTR made a tweet to this effect.
In the country today, efforts are being made to enact a bill to provide 33 percent reservation for women in legislative assemblies. But KTR said that 50 percent reservation for women has always been implemented in Telangana. In his own style, Minister KTR responded to the Women’s Reservation Bill by saying that they are allocating half the seats to women in local bodies such as Zilla Parishads, Municipalities, Corporations and Gram Panchayats.
