Lahore Qalandars set a target of 149 runs to win against Quetta Gladiators

Lahore: (Web Desk) In the 18th match of Pakistan Super League (PSL) 8, Lahore Qalandars set a target of 149 runs to win against Quetta Gladiators.
In the match being played at Gaddafi Stadium, Quetta Gladiators won the toss and decided to field against Lahore Qalandars.
Fakhar Zaman and Mirza Baig started the innings on behalf of Lahore Qalandars which did not prove to be good. Fakhar was run out in the first over, while Mirza Baig continued on in the next over at an individual score of 2.
After the dismissal of the salami pair, Qalandar’s middle order proved to be a wall of sand and by the 9th over of the innings, 7 players of the team returned to the pavilion with a score of 50.
On this occasion, the faltering batting line of Lahore Qalandars was supported by Sikandar Raza and Rashid Khan. A partnership of 69 runs was established between the two.
Rashid was dismissed with 21 runs while Sikandar Raza remained unbeaten with 71 runs. His innings included 8 fours and three sixes.
After the toss, Quetta Gladiators captain Sarfraz Ahmed said that they will try to bowl out Lahore Qalandars at a low score.
He said that 3 changes have been made in Quetta Gladiators today. Imad Asif’s return, Yasir Khan will play in place of Emil Khan.
Lahore Qalandars captain Shaheen Shah Afridi said that no changes have been made in the team.
