On Wednesday, Leigh traveled to Hartnell College in Salinas and defeated top-seeded Aptos 9-1 in the semifinals of the Central Coast Section Division II playoffs.

Bellarmine defeated West Catholic Athletic League rival Sierra for the third time in four meetings this season, this one at Mission College for a trip to the CCS Division II finals.
Wade Mounts allowed two runs in 3â…“ innings and Paul Wheeler pitched 3â…” scoreless innings.
Chris Rudel had two hits and two RBIs and Nolan Randall doubled twice and scored a run for Bellarmine.
The Bulls improved to 19-12-1. Sierra won 16-12.

No. 6 Maria Carrillo 6, No. 7 Benicia 2
Miles Cooper hit a two-run homer for Benicia in the fifth to give the Panthers a brief lead, but Maria Carrillo answered with two in the home half of the frame as the Santa Rosa school topped the Division II championship game on Saturday. Moved forward. Said Casa Grande.
Benicia went 15-11-1.
