The incident where milk products were loaded in a vehicle with the DMK flag at the Avin dairy farm in Madurai has caused controversy.
Various scams continue to take place at Avin Dairy in the Sathamangalam area of Madurai. Action has been taken from time to time following complaints regarding those irregularities. Meanwhile, a video of a DMK-flagged luxury car carrying a large quantity of dairy products from Avin Dairy has surfaced on social media.
The video has caused controversy as the car, which came with the DMK flag, was loaded with milk products and left the car without any check, in violation of the rule that if the milk products are loaded in the vehicle, the bills should be allowed only after the check at the gate.
In this connection, Ponnuchamy, the President of the Tamil Nadu Dairy Agents’ Welfare Association, took to his Twitter page to accuse former Dairy Minister Rajendra Balaji of taking 1.5 tonnes of sweets for his own use during Diwali during the last AIADMK regime. In this situation, the persons who came to the Madurai Avin Dairy in the luxury car that hoisted the DMK flag have loaded dairy products like Avin curd and ice cream from there.
But was the cow’s milk products transported in that luxury car properly paid for? Is a bill issued for payment? If so billed, are only the items mentioned in the bill loaded in the car? Why did the guard at the entrance of the dairy farm send the vehicle without checking it?
So who is the mysterious person who came to Madurai Avin Dairy in a luxury car with DMK flag and loaded Avin milk products? Minister Nasser and the Managing Director of Avin have been asked to give a formal explanation as to what actually happened in Madurai Avin.
