Man killed by dog ​​at Hillson Drive park in Fareham Pipa News

Emergency services were called to the Hillson Drive recreation area in Fareham at 10:25 am on Wednesday, August 10.

It was determined that the injured was dead by the medical teams who came to the scene in the morning.

A 20-year-old man living in the area was arrested on suspicion of being the owner or person responsible for a dog that got dangerously out of control and killed it.

He was released from custody, but the investigation continues.

A dog was secured and removed from the scene, while the victim’s family was notified.

Hampshire Police said officers spoke to people in the area and are conducting further investigations to determine how the man died.
