The Gehlot government has taken a tough stand regarding atrocities on women including molestation of minors. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot had announced a few days ago that the people will not get government jobs. After identifying such miscreants, the police should put their photos in the police station, as well as send the record of such people to RPSC and all the agencies which provide government jobs. After the order of CM Gehlot, Principal Secretary Home Anand Kumar issued an order late on Tuesday night, considering tampering in police verification as a major offense. Against whom FIR of molestation has been registered, investigation is going on, punishment has been received on the orders of the court. There will be no police verification of such people.
Changes made in the order regarding police verification
Principal Secretary Home Department Anand Kumar said in the order that the state government is very sensitive about crimes against girls and women. That is why it is necessary that a criminal case should be registered against the accused and miscreants for molesting minor girls and women, attempt to rape and rape. Also, as long as research is pending in them or the case is under consideration in the court or has been convicted by the court, then such people should be kept away from government jobs. The record of such people should be kept in the police station so that whenever the file comes to the police for verification, it can be mentioned that the character of this person is not right. That’s why he should not be given a government job. If police verification is done not only for government job but also for any other reason, then his character should be mentioned in that also.
Special campaign has been run for the safety of women
Special attention is being paid to the incidents of molestation on the orders of the police headquarters. After getting information about the incident, the police are taking immediate action. In the molestation incident, the police have been instructed to register an FIR immediately and arrest the accused. In the last 10 days, the Rajasthan Police has arrested more than 3 dozen such miscreants and written their names in the official records. In the coming time, whenever these people will get the police verification done regarding any subject, it will first include that these people have been caught by the police in molestation incidents. People who molest will be seen as a criminal in the police record.
