ACP Dakshin BJ Chaudhary talking about this whole matter said that on Thursday two accused were arrested for the crime of burglary of sanitary wear and bath fitting goods in a shop named Deepak & Company located on Rajputpara Main Road in A-Division Police Station area. At that time, Anil Charoliya (aged 30) and Vicky Taretia (aged 23) were being interrogated before the PSI after the corona test of both the accused was done. Meanwhile, the accused named Anil Charoliya injured himself by stabbing a sharp weapon on his neck. After that, the accused was shifted to the civil hospital of Rajkot city within minutes through 108. where he was started but died during treatment within minutes. Police have also taken help of FSL regarding the incident.

In the preliminary investigation of the police, Anil Charoliya has already entered the police book in the case of burglary committed in Malviya Nagar police station area in 2017. Also on Thursday, both the accused were caught with more than 1.83 lakh worth of valuables.
