National Education Policy: New Delhi: The campaign for education reform may intensify in the coming days. Progress will also be seen in many pending cases, such as the formation of the Higher Education Commission of India (HEKI) and the National Research Foundation (NRF). Following the directive of the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Education is currently implementing the recommendations of the National Education Policy (NEP). Among the targets set in this regard, about 200 recommendations related to NEP will be implemented this year.

Important meeting regarding formation of Higher Education Commission
In this regard, the Minister of Education has convened an important meeting regarding the formation of the Higher Education Commission of India. The decision to further accelerate the implementation of the NEP was taken after a high-level meeting convened by the Prime Minister last week on the implementation of the NEP. It was attended by all the top officials of the ministry including the Minister of Education and experts on policy implementation.

Meetings are fast approaching
It is noteworthy that after the review of the Prime Minister, the period of meetings in the Ministry regarding the implementation of the policy has intensified. At the same time, the implementation of the set targets is being re-examined. Most of the policy will be implemented this year in the current strategy.

Each of these recommendations is targeted. Most of the policy recommendations are being implemented this year as the government is finding it difficult to find a suitable time.
