Maren Morris has suggested that she may skip this year’s Country Music Awards, following her split with Brittany Aldean.

Just last month, the Chasing After You singer lashed out at comments made on Instagram by Jason Aldean’s wife, prompting offense in the trans community.

Brittany later defended her position in an appearance on Tucker Carlson Tonight, when the host described Maran as a ‘crazy country music person’.

‘I am very honored that my record is nominated. but i don’t know i think [at] Home right there,’ she said.

‘So many people I love will be in that room, and I’ll probably make a game-time decision and go. However, right now, I don’t feel comfortable going.

‘I love this charming life.’

‘Lamao!! I’m glad they didn’t either, because you and I wouldn’t have worked,’ husband Jason replied in the comments below.

Maran had none of it and suggested that he should ‘zip’ it.

‘It’s that simple, like, not being a badass human being? Sell your clip-in and zip it, Insure Barbie, in reference to the January 6 riots,’ she tweeted.

“I am so sick of seeing full horse**t on the internet and people getting away with it, much less celebrated for it,” she added the next day.
