ISLAMABAD: Federal Information Minister Maryam Aurangzeb says that there will be no public holiday on May Day on Martyrs Day.
Federal Information Minister Maryam Aurangzeb denied this news and said that there will not be a public holiday on Martyrs’ Day. She said that the notification circulating on social media about Martyrs’ Day is fake.
It should be noted that earlier a fake notification was circulating on social media that May 25 will be a public holiday on the occasion of Pakistan Martyrs’ Day. The notification said that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has approved a public holiday on Thursday.
