Meghan Markle’s podcast to return after royal mourning period ends
Meghan Markle’s Spotify podcast “Archtypes” will return on October 4, according to the streaming platform.
The Duchess of Sussex halted the release of new episodes in honor of Queen Elizabeth, who died on 8 September at the age of 96.

Meghan and Prince Harry attended the late monarch’s funeral on September 19 before returning to California.
During the period of royal mourning, all members of the monarchy, including Markle, paused their official duties, including her podcast, which began in August.
“Regularly scheduled episodes will resume on Tuesday, October 4th,” the podcast’s Spotify page read. In an upcoming episode, comedian Margaret Cho will talk about navigating the entertainment industry as an Asian American.
Previous episodes included interviews with tennis legend Serena Williams, singer Mariah Carey and Mindy Kaling, an actress, director, producer and writer. Comedians Robin Thede and Ziwe Fumudoh are among the visiting guests.

In the first week of its release, “Archatypes” surpassed Joe Rogan’s “The Joe Rogan Experience”.
Meghan and Harry agreed to host and produce a podcast for the streaming giant in late 2020. The lucrative deal is valued at around $25 million.
