Mobile food analyzer in Coimbatore: Collector inaugurated Pipa News

District Collector Sameeran Flagship inaugurated the new Mobile Food Analysis Center in Coimbatore.

Complaints are being raised against restaurants in Tamil Nadu day by day. Following this, 4 new mobile analyzers have been provided by the Tamil Nadu government this month. District Collector Sameeran flagged off the newly provided mobile food laboratory vehicle in Coimbatore.

This mobile food laboratory is equipped with laboratory equipment for testing milk products, tea powder, sugar content in food and quality of food products.

This vehicle is going to different parts of Coimbatore every day to check the food items in the bakeries and restaurants in those areas. The vehicle will carry inspectors who will check the quality of food products.

Speaking about this, the officials of the Food Safety Department said that there are daily complaints about the distribution of spoiled and expired food products. Hence samples are taken and analyzed by mobile food laboratory and the evaluation is certified. They said that awareness and training will be provided to the people.
