PCB chairman Mohsin Naqvi is likely to become the chairman of the Asian Cricket Council after Jay Shah becomes the ICC chairman.

According to the report of a foreign news agency, after Asian Cricket Council (ACC) President Jay Shah became ICC President, this important post is likely to be given to Pakistan Cricket Council President Mohsin Naqvi.

The media report says that in the recent ACC meeting, there was a consultation regarding making Mohsin Naqvi the chairman.

With this important responsibility, Mohsin Naqvi will oversee several important tournaments, including the 2025 Asia Cup in India in the T20 format and the ODI edition in Bangladesh in 2027.

The media report also said that a decision regarding the chairmanship of Mohsin Naqvi is likely to be taken at the ACC meeting later this year.

It should be noted that Mohsin Naqvi is the chairman of PCB and also the Minister of Interior Ministry of Pakistan, while with this new important responsibility he will manage three departments that reflect his leadership skills.
