Moncton fire under investigation
A fire wreaks havoc at a restaurant in Moncton on Saturday night.
The Moncton Fire Department responded to a report of a fire at An’s restaurant, on Mountain Road, around 8:30 p.m.
Codiac RCMP closed off part of the street as firefighters responded to the blaze.
An ambulance was nearby and crews from NB power were called to cut off electricity to the building.
According to the Moncton Fire Department, the interior was badly damaged by the smoke.
The restaurant was then closed.
No injuries have been reported.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
