More than $1 million won in Saskatchewan by a resident of the Lac La Ronge Indian Band Reserve

Mary Caisse of the Lac La Ronge Indian Band Reserve is $1,006,667.68 richer after winning the Vault Breaker grand jackpot at Eddie’s Place in La Ronge.

“I was sitting on the VLT machine while my husband was playing pool,” Caisse said. “I didn’t really pay attention to what was going on, but when the four Vault Breaker symbols fell in a row, I knew I had won something decent.”

The Western Canada Lottery Corporation said Caisse won the money on Monday.

“The last symbol kept going round and round – it felt like it took forever,” he said. “When it finally fell into place, I yelled at my husband to go.”

Caisse said they cried and laughed when they saw the amount of the prize.

He said he had some plans for the money.
