Mumbai-bound Vande Bharat train hits a cow and damages it
Gandhinagar-Mumbai Vande Bharat High Express train collided with a cow last evening. This caused minor damage to the front panel of the rail. Vande Bharat Train started operating on this route two months ago. This is the fourth such incident.
According to Sumit Thakur, Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, yesterday evening at 6.23 pm, the train hit the cattle near the level crossing gate number 87 between Udwada and Vabi in Gujarat.
This resulted in minor damage to the front of the train. No functional issues. Said the damage would be repaired overnight. The train, which was halted for a while, resumed its journey at 6.35 pm.
