MUMBAI NEWS Golden opportunity to get PM Narendra Modi commemorative bicentenary celebrations





New Delhi: As part of the 200th anniversary of ‘Mumbai Samachar’, Prime Minister Modi released a special postage stamp at a function held in Mumbai. Two commemoratives were presented to Prime Minister Modi at the ceremony, one featuring Prime Minister Modi standing in front of a map of India in a bandhgala kurta with a newspaper front page collage in the background, a great opportunity to get it at auction. Azadi Ka Amrit Mohotsav at the top, with the slogan Change, Tradition and Progress and the third signage reads Mumbai Samachar Bicentenary Mohotsav 2022.
The length of this plaque is 57 cm, width 23 cm, height 83 cm. And the weight is 12.3 kg. The auction has started from 17th September and Rs. 10,900 has been quoted.
Buyers can participate in the online auction by registering on the Government of India’s PM Mementos Open Auction Portal. One can participate in the e-auction by logging in and registering on the web portal Aalalayalakshajanint.lajnad.shaksha.
More than 1,200 items gifted to Prime Minister Modi are available in the e-auction organized by the Union Ministry of Culture. The auction was launched on September 17, Prime Minister Modi’s birthday, and will conclude on October 2.
The proceeds from the PM Mementos e-auction will be used for the ‘Namami Gange’ scheme.
