Muqtedar Khan Reveals The Reason Behind Pakistan PM Shehbaz Sharif Peace Appeal With India – News18 Kannada

Islamabad (January 22): Pakistan PM Shehbaz Sharif recently said that Pakistan has learned its lesson and wants to live in peace with India. He emphasized that neighbors should not waste their resources on bombs and ammunition. But questions are being raised as to why there is such a sudden change in Pakistan’s attitude towards India. Does Pakistan really want peace (Peace Talk) or is it talking about peace with some pressure? Professor Mukdar Khan, director of the Islamic Studies Program of the University of Delaware, USA, is of the opinion that Pakistan has started peace talks after giving in to the pressure of the United Arab Emirates.

Shahbaz Sharif said that talks with India will be held only after the re-imposition of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir. Regarding this issue, Mukdar Khan said that the problem of minorities in India is between the minorities and the majority there. Pakistan should not bother about this. He said that if they talk about hatred against certain sections of Muslims in India, Pakistan is also responsible for it.

Why the proposal for peace talks in UAE?

Professor Muktadar is of the opinion that Shahbaz Sharif in UAE requested financial assistance from the world to his country through TV. Mukdar says that Pakistan’s economic condition is very bad. UAE lends cheap oil to Pakistan Sharif’s visit to UAE is also his presence in such a situation. For this reason, Sharif went there and talked about establishing peace with India. Another reason behind this is that the Pakistan Army does not allow such behavior in its country, said Muktdar.

What did the Prime Minister of Pakistan say?

Speaking in an interview conducted by a news channel, Shehbaz Sharif said, ‘India and Pakistan are neighbors and should live with mutual understanding. And ‘Should we live for peace and progress or should we fight? Wasting time and resources? It is up to us. We fought 3 wars with India. But it has brought more misery, poverty and unemployment to our people,” he said.

We have engineers, doctors and skilled workers. Sharif mentioned that we want to use these assets for prosperity and bring peace to the region so that both nations can grow.

And we have learned lessons from past mistakes. We are able to solve our real problems and want to live in peace. Don’t want to waste precious resources with an ammo attack. This is my request to Prime Minister Modi.
