In this case, Nationalist Congress’s Kerala state president BC Shacko recently said, ‘If Sasi Tharoor leaves the Congress and joins the Nationalist Congress, I will welcome him with open arms.
‘His greatness is not known to the Congress party. He said that Sasi Tharoor will continue as Thiruvananthapuram MP even if Congress rejects him.
This created a stir in Kerala politics. There were reports that Sasi Tharoor was going to join the Nationalist Congress.
In this case, Sasi Tharoor said yesterday:
If I am going to join the Nationalist Congress, they should welcome me; There is no such plan. I have not spoken to Sacco in this regard.
