Indian javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra, rival and friend of gold medalist Arshad Nadeem, also expressed his reaction to receiving a buffalo as a gift from his father.

Neeraj Chopra said, “Where I grew up, sports like kabaddi and wrestling are very popular and ghee is given as gifts there because our people believe that ghee increases strength.”
He also informed that here we also give buffaloes as gifts, wrestlers and kabaddi players are also given bullet motorcycles or tractors as gifts.
