Nitin Gadkari Threat | Jayesh case soon to NIA, DIG reviews investigation progress

Nagpur. Jayesh Pujari, who threatened Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and demanded extortion, is in Nagpur Jail. The NIA team reached Nagpur on Thursday to investigate the matter. DIG and SP rank officers took complete information related to this matter. The Nagpur team has completed the investigation. It is expected that Jayesh’s case will be handed over to the NIA within a week. Jayesh Pujari was arrested by Nagpur Police from Bangalore Jail.

After a thorough investigation, the Crime Branch team sent him to Nagpur Central Jail. As the investigation progressed, he was charged under the Prevention of Terrorism Act (UAPA Act). Now the investigation of this case will be handed over to NIA. In this background, the NIA team came to Nagpur on Thursday.

In the morning, two officers of DIG and SP rank reviewed the investigation in Pujari case. Progress was seen in the investigation. A lot has been confirmed. On the basis of this NIA will investigate further. Along with this, the team also gave some suggestions. Now Jayesh is likely to be handed over to NIA soon. Gadkari was threatened with extortion of Rs 110 crore in January and March.

During the police investigation, it came to light that the strings of the arrested accused are connected to the terrorist organization. The documents of Jayesh case are being handled by 2 officers of Nagpur Police. On Thursday, the NIA team entered the police gymkhana. He took information from senior officials regarding the threat case.
