Obviously, India is at the forefront of this index among countries with large economies and leading arms purchases. Sri Lanka is at 29th, Nepal at 36th, Bangladesh at 43rd, Bhutan at 93rd and China at 93rd. The US is ranked 30th, Germany 35th, United Kingdom 42nd, Russia 45th, Canada 54th, Japan 62nd and Australia 69th.
