No income tax for self-employed…!
Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has presented the budget for the year 2023-24. in it
* Self-employed earners with monthly income up to Rs.58,250 no income tax.
* According to the new income tax scheme, those earning up to Rs.62,500 per month are not required to pay income tax.
*Rs.9000 crore has been allocated for the development of small and medium enterprises. Steps will be taken to reduce loan interest to 1% for small and micro enterprises.
* Unsecured loans will be provided to micro industries from 1st April.
* A scheme to provide incentives to 47 lakh youth will be implemented.
* 1 Lakh Women Self Help Groups will be formed. Laws related to banking services will be simplified.
* 30 centers will be set up to provide skill training to the youth.
* There is not a single word about the price of petrol and diesel in the budget!
* Funding for capital expenditure increased by 33 per cent in the current financial year
