It is being told that all the 13 bodies are being brought from Sulur to Delhi through the C-130J Super Hercules transport aircraft of the Indian Air Force. Indian Air Force Chief Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhari has already left for Delhi from Sulur. At the same time, four bodies including General Rawat, his wife and Brigadier LS Lidder have been identified.

On the other hand, orders have been given to investigate the helicopter accident. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh gave this information in his address in the Lok Sabha. The Defense Minister said that an inquiry has been ordered by the Indian Air Force from a tri-service team. It will be headed by Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief Training Command Air Marshal Manvendra Singh. Rajnath Singh said, the Chief of Defense Staff will be cremated with full military honours. He told that the only survivor, Group Captain Varun Singh, has been put on the life support system.
