One ton of decorated grapes missing from Vitthal temple, devotees demand inquiry




Pandharpur news: On the occasion of Amlaki Ekadashi, 1 tonne grapes were decorated in the temple of Vithuraya in Pandharpur. However, as this decoration disappeared within half an hour, discussion has arisen on social media including the locality. Also how did this grape disappear. The devotee along with the devotee who gave the fruit has demanded an inquiry into the matter.

The information received is that devotees Babasaheb Shende, Poonam Shende and Sachin Chavan from Baramati in Pune had given 1 ton of grapes to decorate Vitthal Temple in Pandpur on the occasion of Ekadashi. According to this, 1 ton of grape beads decorated the gabhara of the temple. But in just half an hour, all these grapes disappeared. Today at six o’clock in the morning, after the decoration, the devotees started darshan and in half an hour, not a single penny of grapes was left. There is a discussion about who stole hundreds of bunches of grapes planted outside the darshan line, and a demand has been made to investigate the matter. Devotees of Vittal have demanded that the temple administration should conduct search immediately and prevent such incidents from happening again.
