Only PML-N can control inflation, says Maryam Nawaz

Faisalabad: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) senior vice-president Maryam Nawaz claimed that only her party can fight the rising inflation, making it difficult for poor citizens to have a single meal.
Amid rising food prices, weekly inflation in Pakistan rose to 42.27 per cent – the highest weekly annual number since last September – on an annual basis during the outgoing week, as the cash-strapped country raised the inflation rate set by the International Monetary Fund. (IMF) to revive a stalled loan programme.

1.37% till March 9, a major increase in the prices of food articles.
Maryam Nawaz said this while presiding over a meeting of the party in Faisalabad, where the party’s organizational structure was reviewed and recommendations for enhancing cooperation between PML-N wings were discussed. He said that PML-N is the only party which can bring down inflation and bring the country on the path of prosperity. He reiterated his demand for equal standards of justice in the country.
Lamenting the unethical social media practices, Maryam Nawaz asked PML-N workers to play their part to counter such trends. The social media wing of the PML-N had to take up the responsibility of ending hatred in the society. NNI
