Over 1500 students participate in the Pace Junior CEO Challenge
KARACHI: To promote inclusion, equality, creativity and problem-solving skills among students, Pace College of Advanced Studies in association with Rotary Club of Educational Development and All Private School Management Association has launched Pakistan’s first Junior CEO Challenge Inter School Business. Over 1500 students from 100+ renowned schools of Karachi participated in the competition where top 16 qualifiers competed for the Grand Finale of Junior CEO Challenge celebrating Global Entrepreneurship Week on 12th November 2022 at Kala Parishad Karachi (Venue Partner) .
Adil Durvesh Co-founder Pace College of Advanced Studies focused on the need to build an entrepreneurial mindset among the youth of Pakistan as the response to the second edition was overwhelming. Paes co-founder Eijaz Khan was overwhelmed to see the enthusiasm among budding entrepreneurs, especially girls sharing brilliant ideas. Project Lead Huma Jabeen said that we have created an opportunity for our youth to think out of the box and Junior CEO Challenge has thrived as a brand in Pakistan’s entrepreneurship eco-system.
Tariq Shah, President, Rotary Club of Educational Development and APSMA shared that the innovative concept behind the challenge is so inviting and aligned with the ideology of Rotary and APSMA that it has made them collaborative partners in this paradigm shift.
Habib CEO Tariq Sultan, Aga Khan University Examination Board CEO Dr. Shahzad Jeeva, Dr. Farah Essa, Sabina Khatri, Tauseef Latif Hasan Daudpota, Rafia Mallah, Khushnood Aftab, Asif Ismail, Shoaib Ibrahim, Haroon Qasim, Rizwan Jaffer, Dr. Hussain Habib and Taimur Bayram were among the keynote speakers and panellists, who encouraged the top qualifiers to win the Junior CEO Challenge 2022 title.
Speaking on the occasion Dr. Hussain Habib, Director, Salim Habib University said, “This is a great initiative for the students to unlock their true potential and develop their creative thinking. Our youth can excel only through an entrepreneurial mindset and by providing such platforms we can empower them and prepare them for future success.
