Pak success in Asia Cup hosting as ACC okays PCB hybrid model
Pakistan has achieved big success in Asia Cup 2023 hosting, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Wednesday.
The Asia Cricket Council ACC has approved the hybrid hosting model proposed by Pakistan. The council has informed the Indian cricket board too.
PCB Management Committee chairman Najam Sethi’s efforts bore fruit.
Four to six matches of the tournament will be played in Pakistan, while India will play matches at neutral venues.
Pakistan considers UAE as a suitable neutral venue. Indian authorities will decide on the venues next week. The Indian board will meet on May 27.
