Relief from heat is being seen in the state. Temperatures in most cities have dipped below 40 degrees. So the temperature has crossed 41 degrees in 3 cities of the state. The highest temperature has reached 42.3 degrees in Ahmedabad. Also, due to Western Disturbance, temperature changes can be seen.
From today, the temperature of the state may see a drop. In which 2 to 4 degree temperature drop has been predicted by the Meteorological Department. Heavy winds will start blowing in the state from today. Wind speed will be 30 to 40 km per hour. There may be relief from intense heat but there will be suffering due to cold. Meteorological department has given yellow alert for Ahmedabad.

After May 25, the temperature is likely to drop. Chances of a drop in maximum temperature of 2-3 degrees were expressed. 42 degree temperature was recorded at 5 places including Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar on Tuesday. In many places, the temperature rose by 3 degrees on Tuesday.
Weather will remain dry till May 27

Looking at this, the forecast has indicated relief from the heat. However, the decrease in heat will increase the westerly winds that bring moisture. Even now, the humidity in the state reaches 80% before sunrise. In which the humidity is high in the coastal areas of Saurashtra. Dampness will reduce heat but may increase chills and discomfort.
