Petroleum products: Hearing against price increase postponed indefinitely
The hearing against the increase in the prices of petroleum products has been postponed indefinitely.
According to the details, the court adjourned the hearing for an indefinite period due to the absence of the petitioner. The court sought the decision of the Supreme Court regarding price determination. The prices have been increased by 35-35 rupees, the prices of light diesel and kerosene have been reduced by 18-18 rupees. The government should take notice of burdening the people, the people of Pakistan have already been crushed under the burden of inflation. The petitioner requested that the assemblies of two provinces have been dissolved while the resignations of 33 members of the National Assembly have been accepted. By fulfilling the agenda of the IMF, the prices of petroleum products have been increased in the country’s history. It should be directed to take the approval of the increase in the prices of petroleum products from the Parliament. In the petition, the Secretary Finance, Secretary Petroleum, OGRA and others have been made parties.
