During these seven years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s tenure, there are some things that even his staunchest supporters could not believe that it could be done so easily. Removal of Article 370, law on triple talaq and foundation stone of Ram temple are some such works. Before entering Parliament for the first time, PM Modi had told him that this is really a temple of democracy. Whether it is the history of independent India or of the world, there will be no such culture or civilization in the world where it is mentioned that the ruler of that country, by campaigning, has opened toilets in every village and house. It will be written in the history of India that there was such a ruler, under whose rule the highest officer of the district was raiding the fields of the village in the morning to see if any person was defecating in the open.
Another incident, remember 2015, when people from every corner of the country, about 5 times bigger than India, were gathering to see the leader of another country in the most powerful country of the world. After that that leader goes to other powerful and rich countries of the world where slogans of his name are raised everywhere.
Yes, we are talking about the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, whom you may criticize, but he has some such achievements which cannot be denied. No one can deny that it is the fear of decisions like surgical strike that in the last seven years, incidents like attack on Parliament, attack on Mumbai and blasts in trains or markets do not happen. Otherwise even the daughter of the Home Minister of this country has been kidnapped. 1- Establishment of peace by breaking the back of terrorism, a country which was once plagued by terrorism from north to south and east to west,
there is peace in that country for the past few years. Khalistan in Punjab, fear of LTTE in South, Bodo in North East and many terrorist groups were active. In Kashmir, Pakistan-backed terrorists used to carry out incidents of violence on a daily basis. Every day there were reports that there was a blast in Mumbai, sometimes in Surat, sometimes in Delhi, and sometimes in UP. Sometimes planes were hijacked and sometimes the daughter of the Home Minister was kidnapped. The incidents of violence have come down significantly after the removal of Article 370 from Kashmir. At the same time,
getting the Bodo rebels to sign a peace proposal in the North East and bringing them into the mainstream has also been a big success of the government. Before 2014, Pakistan used to sit peacefully after conducting terrorist attacks in India. Now India knows how to give a befitting reply to the attack, after the Uri and Pathankot attacks, Pakistan had to face the surgical strike. By doing surgical strike, India had told the world that this is the new India which kills its enemies by entering the house. On 18 September 2016, terrorists from Pakistan attacked the Indian Army camp in the Uri sector of Jammu and Kashmir, in which 18 Indian soldiers were martyred. The country was furious with this attack. Pakistan felt that the way it used to sit peacefully after attacking India earlier, something similar would happen this time too. But something happened on September 29 which told the world that India knows how to give a befitting reply to its enemies. On the night of 29 September, 150 Indian commandos entered PoK and carried out a surgical strike, this was the first time for the country that the Indian Army had conducted an operation against the terrorists by crossing the Line of Control. In this attack, about 38 terrorists were killed by Indian soldiers. This operation, which started at 12.30 in the night,
went on till 4.30 in the morning. On 26 February 2019, the Indian Air Force not only destroyed the terrorist hideouts of Jaish-e-Mohammed by conducting an air strike in Balakot, but also killed more than 250 of its terrorists. 2- Muslim countries also do not pay attention to Pakistan, stop speaking of China that before 2014, Pakistan used to be successful in spreading confusion around the world about India. Whether it is about Kashmir or on the issue of terrorism. Pakistan always saved itself by proving India wrong by lying in international forums. But when Narendra Modi’s government came in 2014, Prime Minister Modi first strengthened his diplomacy and foreign policy, through which the condition of Pakistan has become such that even Muslim countries do not pay attention to it. Even OIC, an organization of 47 Muslim countries, has now started giving importance to India more than Pakistan. The situation of Pakistan has become such that no country wants to give it loan now, even on the matter of terrorism, India has isolated Pakistan in the whole world. With him, apart from China, hardly any country is seen standing on this issue. Countries like America and Saudi Arabia, which always stood with Pakistan, today stand with India and vehemently oppose Pakistan. Be it Saudi Arabia, Iraq or Iran, India has firmly established its foreign policy in Gulf countries and European countries. Due to which India’s stature in the world has also increased and its respect has also increased. Today Saudi and United Arab Emirates are good friends of India, which used to be with Pakistan. India has now become an eye-to-eye talker with India’s neighbor China. The closeness of the organization of the Quad countries and the G7 has given India a lot of strength. After the Galvan Valley incident, China has been hiding its face in front of the world and its own country. Till date, China has not been able to openly speak on how many Chinese soldiers were killed in Galvan. 3- India’s Vaccine Diplomacy What India has under its Vaccination Diplomacy The world praises him today. On one hand, where the virus originated from China’s neighboring country was wreaking havoc all over the world, on the other hand India was giving a protective shield to the rich and poor countries of the world from this virus. The countries which till yesterday described themselves as so-called developed and powerful, stood folded hands in front of India to avoid Corona. India not only gave corona vaccine to countries like Britain, America and Saudi Arabia, Canada. Rather, he also helped those poor countries of the world in this epidemic, which no one was asking. PM Modi made India proud all over the world through Vaccine Diplomacy. India gave 70 percent of the total donation to its neighboring countries Bangladesh, Myanmar, Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka and Maldives. This is one-third of the total exports. India gave about 1 crore 80 lakh vaccines to these countries. At the same time, India also donated the vaccine to African countries. Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro also thanked Prime Minister Modi by sharing a picture of Hanuman ji after India received two million doses of the Kovid-19 vaccine. According to a news published in BBC, India has given about 60 million vaccine doses to a total of 90 countries of the world under this vaccine diplomacy. Due to this vaccine diplomacy of PM Modi, India was praised all over the world. 4- Swachh Bharat Mission, cleanliness included in the priority The vision of the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi was made by Mahatma Gandhi.
But even after so many years of the country’s independence, no government or prime minister paid attention to it. When Narendra Modi’s government came in 2014, on 2 October 2014, the Modi government announced to start it as a national movement. Launching the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan at Delhi’s Rajpath at that time, Prime Minister Modi had said, “On the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi in 2019, India can pay the best tribute to him in the form of Swachh Bharat.” From big cities to villages, this movement raised an awareness about cleanliness. By starting the Swachh Bharat Mission, PM Modi realized Gandhiji’s vision of a clean India. The country has progressed very fast towards cleanliness. Whether it is the competition for cleanliness of cities at the national level or the distinction between dry and wet waste,
construction of huge sewer lines in cities or toilets from door to door. These steps of the Narendra Modi government forced people to think towards cleanliness in the country and made it a big campaign. Door to door access to toilets has reduced the number of people defecating in the open to a great extent. This was a big problem in rural areas which is over now. A plan was made to construct 1.2 crore toilets in rural areas at a cost of Rs 1.96 lakh crore, which was completed on 2 October 2019 i.e. till the 125th anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. 5- The historic decision of demonetisation, GST, on November 8, 2016 at 8 pm, Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave such an address to the nation which surprised everyone. In fact, the Prime Minister had decided to put out the currency notes of 500 and 1000 rupees running in the country. That is, now 1000 and 500 notes will not run in the country. The rationale behind the Modi government was that this would curb corruption, black money and terrorism. The opposition strongly opposed this decision of the Narendra Modi government, but the way the people of the country stood with Narendra Modi in the 2019 elections, he told that the decision of demonetisation was acceptable to the public. The government described GST as the biggest economic reform after India’s independence. Goods and Services Tax, which is called GST in short form and Goods and Services Tax in English. In India, it was implemented on 1 July 2017 and the Narendra Modi government called it the biggest economic reform after India’s independence. With the introduction of GST, a single indirect tax system was implemented for the whole country by removing many taxes being levied at different rates by the central government and different state governments. This greatly benefited the business class of India. Although the opposition parties of the country tried hard to surround the Modi government on this issue too, but it failed. 6- Triple Talaq Act On August 1, 2019, a law came into force in the country which changed the lives of women of the Muslim community. The orthodox tradition like triple talaq had ruined the lives of many women in Muslim society, so for many years they had demanded that it should be abolished, but due to vote bank politics, all the previous governments did not bother to do anything and say anything on this issue. picked up. But the Narendra Modi government has decided that there will be no inhuman tradition like triple talaq in the country. According to the data given by Union Minority Affairs Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, after the implementation of the triple talaq law, there was a reduction of 80 percent in triple talaq cases in the country. This is one such social reform done by the Modi government which will be remembered for centuries. For example, the struggle of Raja Rammohun Roy to stop child marriage is remembered. 7- The date of August 5, 2019, ending Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir, was recorded in India forever. In fact, Article 370 and 35A of Jammu and Kashmir were rejected from the Indian Parliament on this day. The Sangh had been making this demand for many years. But it was accomplished by the Narendra Modi government. Union Territories by dividing Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh today sh has been made. This was such an issue in the country that even political parties were afraid to touch it. But the Modi government, with its determination, has done such a task which for years seemed impossible to the people of India and the leaders doing politics. The phase of peace that has started in Kashmir today is undoubtedly the thrust of this decision behind it. After decades in Kashmir, Kashmiri Pandits took out a procession on Janmashtami this year which passed through Lal Chowk. After years, Kashmir is buzzing with tourists. 8- Fulfilled every dream of RSS – BJP’s reach to every nook and corner of the country It is the result of the Prime Minister’s work done in the last seven years that today the Bharatiya Janata Party is now known as an all India party instead of just a party of North India. emerged in. Be it Assam, Tripura or West Bengal in the East. BJP is present everywhere. The party is standing at the door of South Vijay after making a place in Puducherry. But the failure of the government on the economic front is a matter of great concern. The emergence of an economy like Bangladesh ahead of us proves that the government has made some mistakes. Construction of Ram temple On 9 November 2019, a special bench of five judges headed by Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi unanimously ruled in favor of Ram temple. The verdict was the end of a century-long dispute that had created a rift between the two communities. After the verdict, on August 5, 2020, Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation of the Ram temple in Ayodhya and after the land worship, the construction of the temple started. It is fully expected that before the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, that is, by 2023, this grand temple will be ready. From the suit-boot government to the welfare state, the people of the country had realized for the past several decades that the government coming to the center is always the government of the corporate world. When Narendra Modi’s government was formed, he was tagged with a suit-boot government. Even those who brought the BJP to power by voting did not know that this government would become such a government of the poor. Prime Minister Narendra Modi made an Ayushman card and gave health insurance up to 5 lakhs or delivered cylinders from door to door under the Ujjwala scheme, connecting every poor with the bank through Jan Dhan account, the poor were at the center of all the schemes. International Yoga Day ‘Yoga’, which is an invaluable gift of ancient Indian tradition, is leaving India and playing its sting all over the world, so Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s thinking is behind it. In fact, on 27 September 2014, when the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi was giving a speech in the United Nations General Assembly, he had talked about celebrating International Yoga Day. Which was recognized by 177 members of the United Nations on 21 June 2015. Since then, International Yoga Day has been celebrated all over the world on 21st June. International Yoga Day was celebrated for the first time all over the world on 21 June 2015, in which about 36000 people participated and representatives of 84 countries also participated in it by performing 21 yoga asanas. 9- Even the work that Congress could not accomplish, from the year 2014 till now, during the tenure of Prime Minister Modi, some such schemes are being implemented in the country, which the Congress party once dreamed of doing itself. But she could not dare to accomplish this even during her decades of rule. Even the Central Vista project, which the Congress is strongly opposing today, was once part of the planning of the UPA government. Congress leaders had written letters for the construction of the new Parliament building and the UPA government had also given its support to this proposal. Narendra Modi did implement GST in 2017, but the Congress government had tried to bring GST. In the budget of 2007, the then Finance Minister P Chidambaram had announced the implementation of GST from April 2010. However, the Congress party could not do so. Similarly, there has been talk of giving reservation to the poor upper castes for a long time, which is being supported by many parties including Congress. But till date no one has been able to implement it. Be it the Peripheral Expressway on the side of Delhi or the Freight Corridor project, which started in 2006 in the Congress government, giving a new dimension to the freight railways. But till 2014, not much work could be done on it in 8 years, although when Narendra Modi’s government came in 2014, he worked on it rapidly, taking this project mainly.
