Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated ISRO scientists and engineers for the successful launch of Aditya-L1.
Following the Chandrayaan-3 success, the Aditya L-1 space probe was launched from the Satish Dhawan Research Center, Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh at 11.50 am on Saturday, aboard a PSLV C-57 rocket.
One hour and 12 minutes after launch, the Aditya spacecraft separated from the rocket and began its solo journey, ISRO said.
