Presidential candidate Yashwant Sinha:- Dinamani

Yashwant Sinha has said that the opposition is vying for the presidency in favor of federalism and constitutional honors.

Yashwant Sinha, who is contesting as the common candidate of the opposition against the ruling BJP alliance candidate in the presidential election, spoke on Thursday when he met party leader and first lady MK Stalin, Congress and Left party legislators at the Anna Arivalayam in Chennai:

In Tamil Nadu, the first MK Stalin said that the coalition parties, including the DMK, had 63,000 votes. It brings happiness.

The ruling party in the middle does not show the slightest respect for the federal system. Transcends all. Every section of the Constitution is being smashed.

We are all fighting to uphold the Constitution and its dignity. I am competing in the garden as the beginning of this struggle. Do not worry about dot results.

If nominated as the President, I will ensure that the lamp of federalism burns brightly. I will stop the governor from misbehaving with the elected representatives of the people in the states. The misuse of central government agencies like enforcement department and income tax department for political gain will be stopped.

Tamil Nadu has a very rich culture. Has always been a voice for the rights, language and culture of the state. He said that our struggle should follow them and continue.

Chief Minister and DMK President M.K.Stalin welcomed. Rajya Sabha member Kanimozhi coordinated the event. Member of Rajya Sabha Trichy Siva expressed vote of thanks.
