Islamabad: New guidelines have been issued for airports to prevent monkeypox. In view of the spread of Monkeypox, various preventive measures have been taken in Pakistan.
According to the guidelines, border health officials with customs can check imported goods, passengers coming to Pakistan will be thermally screened at airports and planes must be disinfected while all airlines will provide masks to the his legacy passengers.
The guidelines state that civil aviation will follow all SOPs related to flights and passengers, all airlines, staff and ground handling companies will be required to follow the SOPs.
The guidelines state that ASF will provide security in designated isolation areas at airports, FIA Immigration will be required to provide passenger details and FIA will not issue visas on arrival to foreigners without health authorization
