Protest against Brij Bhushan Singh petition against wrestlers! The hearing will be held today in Delhi’s Patiala House Court

The petition states that wrestlers Vinesh Phogat, Bajrang Punia and Sakshi Malik among others have made false allegations against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Wrestling Federation of India president Brij Bhushan Singh.

New Delhi: A petition has also been filed against wrestlers who protested against Wrestling Federation of India Chairman Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar. The petition was filed in the Patiala House Court on Wednesday, seeking registration of an FIR against the wrestlers. A hearing is likely to be held in this matter today. It should be noted that more than a month has passed since the wrestlers staged a sit-in against the Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) and its chairman Brij Bhushan.

The petition filed in the Patiala House Court has accused wrestlers including Vinesh Phogat, Bajrang Punia and Sakshi Malik of sexually harassing Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) president Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh. Making false allegations and using foul language against Prime Minister Narendra Modi as well. The petition states that all the allegations leveled against Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh are false. Such allegations are made under the pressure of someone for personal gain. Advocate AP Singh has filed a petition in the court on behalf of the petitioner Bum Bum Maharaj.

The court will hear the petition on Thursday at 2 pm. Meanwhile, the players’ protest at Jantar Mantar continued on Wednesday. The wrestlers are continuously demanding the arrest of Brij Bhushan. Apart from this, wrestler Sakshi Malik has gone to Haryana to seek support. On behalf of the wrestlers, support is being sought from the public through social media.
