MPs claim that one of the 11 accused in the Bilkis Bano gang-rape and murder case attended a government function in Gujarat with two Bharatiya Janata Party leaders. He even addressed them as ‘monsters’. The language of Mahua Maitra’s tweet can be understood, how angry she is to see Bilkis Bano’s rapist on the same stage with BJP leaders.
Referring to him as a ‘monster’, the Trinamool MP tweeted, “I want to see these monsters in jail. And this satanic government, responsible for allowing them to roam in the open like this, should be uprooted. I would like to see India regain its lost moral ground.” Mahua Maitra tweeted this in very harsh language.
