On the other hand, the business organizations of Peshawar are also on strike, the business unions demand that the increase in electricity prices should be withdrawn, and the tax rate should be reduced .

Protests will be held across the country against the increase in taxes and electricity bills, shopping malls are closed in most districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, there is a complete shutdown in Lower Dir, Upper Dir, Chitral, Bajaur, Shangla, Swat, Bunera and Verlamakand, company leaders say that if the demands are not accepted, the matter will go beyond a one-day strike.

The business community says that the increase in electricity bills should be withdrawn, the tax rate should be reduced, JUI, ANP, Jamaat-e-Islami and PTI have also announced their support for the strike the shutter.

In the cities of Punjab, Lahore, Faisalabad, Mianwali, Sargodha, Khushab, Sahiwal, traders are on complete strike against taxes, inflation and electricity bills.

In Gujranwala, there is complete shutterdown strike on the call of central organization of traders, all markets including Cloth Board Market, Rail Bazaar, Sarafa Bazaar, Urdu Bazaar are completely closed, heavy police force is deployed outside markets and markets.

Due to the strike in Rawalpindi, business activities are suspended in small and large markets, bakers’ association and hotel owners are also involved in the strike.

On the other hand, all the shops and markets in the city of Quetta are also completely closed, due to which the traffic is less than usual.
