Sanitary Napkin Delivery in Storm Destroyed Areas – Uttarbanga Sambad

Kochbihar: All India Women’s Cultural Organization distributed sanitary napkins in the storm-ravaged areas. On Saturday, they were handed over to about 150 girls in several areas including Shuktabari, Chhota Atharokota, Bara Atharokota in Kochbihar-1 block on behalf of the organization.

It is learned that the whole area has been reduced to dust due to the recent devastating Kalbaishakhi riots. Thousands of houses were destroyed. Many people were injured. After that, the local residents are facing financial crisis. On behalf of the All India Women’s Cultural Organization, Sushmita Barman said that sanitary napkins were given to the financially backward people.
