Schools reopen in Kashmir after winter vacations
Srinagar, Mar 1 (PTI) Schools in Kashmir reopened on Wednesday after the winter break.
Students dressed in uniform were seen leaving for their respective schools early in the morning as the school education department changed the timings of schools from 9 am to 2 pm in Srinagar city.
“I am directed to give approval of the department for change of school timings from 9 am to 2 pm in Srinagar city with effect from March-01,” said Under Secretary, School Education Department, Govt.
School Education Department had announced on November-25 closure of schools for winter vacations in a phased manner in winter areas of Kashmir and Jammu Divisions from December-01-2022 to February-28-2023.
