A delegation of Sindh Premier League (SPL) met President Asif Ali Zardari.
In the meeting held in Islamabad, President Zardari emphasized the need to improve cricket infrastructure and training facilities in Sindh to nurture Sindh’s cricketing talent.
He also said that SPL is the best platform to showcase the cricketing talent of the province, the youth of Sindh should be provided with modern coaching and mentoring opportunities.
The president also said that the possibility of joint projects should be considered for the preparation of modern cricket stadiums.
He said that sports and cricket leagues will promote sports tourism and economic activities.
Asif Ali Zardari said he will ask the Sindh government and the PCB to help improve cricket infrastructure in Sindh.
The delegation informed the president of the country about the problems faced, on which the president assured cooperation.
