There is an unwritten rule that Taralubalu Sirigeri Math should not go to Ujjain Math and Ujjain village. However, some people have tried to enter Ujjaini village near Kalapura Cross where Ujjaini Peetha is located. On this occasion people of Kalpur village were pelted with stones.
A few houses, bikes and soldiers of the village were set on fire by stone pelting and the police were also attacked. Therefore, a curfew has been imposed in Ujjain and surrounding villages where there are 9 footpaths, and the police have set up a camp at the place.

Vijayanagar District Collector Venkatesh gave a response to the incident, saying that there was a bike rally in the background of Taralubalu full moon. There were people in the vehicle. At this time, there is a conflict between the people coming to the rally and the villagers of Kalapur for a trivial reason. Four people were injured and admitted to hospital. AC, SP have visited the spot. The situation has been brought under control. SP, Kottoor Tehsildar has stopped at the place. He said that section 144 prohibition order has been implemented as a precautionary measure.
The SP is gathering information about the bike that broke into the houses and set them on fire. Action will be taken against those who caused the conflict. After giving the SP report I will also go to the spot if necessary. There is information that there is an old dispute between the two monasteries. Even in the midst of the Hampi festival, the rally was organized. He said that there is a lot of swelling and therefore the necessary provision will be made.
