Telangana minister jagadish reddy counter to governor tamilisai regarding his comments ak

Telangana Minister Jagdish Reddy gave a counter on the Governor’s tweet. He commented that the governor has no slaves. He said that there is no need to approach the Governor for clearance of files. The Governor (Governor Tamilisai) was accused of being arrogant. He said that he hoped that justice would be done in the Supreme Court. Earlier, Governor Tamilisai’s tweet became a hot topic in political and authority circles. Governor Tamilisai fired on Telangana Chief Secretary Shantikumari. Tamalisai tweeted that after taking charge as CS, he did not even come to CS Raj Bhavan, at least not even on the phone. This tweet was tagged to Shantikumari.

On the other hand, the state government approached the Supreme Court in the name of Shantikumari, who took charge as Telangana CS. There are currently 10 bills pending with the Governor. Yesterday, a writ petition was filed in the Supreme Court asking the Governor to approve the bills passed by the Assembly. The petition stated that even after 5 months, the Governor has not approved the bills. In this background, the Governor tweeted targeting the CS. It seems that Governor Tamilisai is confident that instead of going to the Supreme Court, if he had talked to himself, the problems would have been resolved.

Earlier, on the occasion of Republic Day on January 26, there was a similar protocol dispute between Raj Bhavan and Pragati Bhavan. Then the High Court gave appropriate protocol to the Governor and ordered that the Governor should be invited to the Republic Day and a parade should also be held. The government backed down and followed the protocol.

Now in the case of bills as per the constitution, the governor has the power to decide on them. It is in her hands to accept or reject them. However, the government’s argument is that she is wasting time without giving any decision. And what the Supreme Court says about this writ petition is interesting. Arguments on this petition are likely to be held after Holi.
